Over the past 33 years, I have worked in the IT industry, engaging in system-related sales, project management, and the development of new business opportunities in international disaster risk reduction. My primary role now is to collaborate with researchers from various fields to generate impactful outcomes as the Uehiro Disaster Risk Reduction Research Division.

The World Bosai Forum, which I became involved in the operation, and which brought me to live in Sendai, provide a platform where stakeholders from the United Nations, governments, private companies, NGOs, and citizens gather to openly discuss and resolve global disaster risk reduction challenges. We actively utilize this forum to present the achievements of our research division and to share our contributions with the world.
